I got accepted into college! I got my acceptance letter in the mail, and I freaked out. I went straight to the campus and bought a hoodie. I’m beyond excited, I’ve already started searching for used textbooks. Used being the key word, I added up all of the textbooks I need for term one. It’s over $1600. I’ve been looking at every possible website for used textbooks. I’ve already got one for free, which is a huge score because its normally $100. Around April is when a lot of used textbooks will be available. But if I start collecting them now, I’ll save a lot of money when September rolls around.
This was a very quick post. I promiseI’ll have a much better one by Friday!
Thanks for listening
First and foremost, I designed a logo.
Its a work in progress, but its something. Now onto the reason for this post!
I applied to college! I was sitting at school and got an urge to just go for it. I phoned my dad to get his credit card number, because for some reason it costs $40 just to apply. After applying online they sent me an email informing me that they will contact me soon. I’m not too sure what that means, but I’m hoping that it will happen fast. I applied for the associate of arts degree in psychology. An associate degree means that it transfers over to a university, which then turns into a bachelors degree. I have three snippets of info for you;
- Its not as scary as I thought, its actually really exciting
- Be prepared to pay a application fee. It could be $40 or it could be $100, they gave me five minutes to fill in the credit card info. So have it ready.
- I am now very pumped and want to go get a college hoodie and supplies! even though it’s 8 months away… and I haven’t got an acceptance letter yet.
As I am thinking about it now, I may have filled it out wrong… Hopefully I didn’t and I’m just overthinking it. I’ll keep you updated on my journey!
